An older home in an upscale neighborhood had lots of features but no garage, an outdated Kitchen and a tight lot with many restrictions. In order to get approval for this addition the owner had to present plans to the Zoning Appeals Board and the Architectural Review Board of the City. Every aspect of the design was scrutinized including lot line setbacks, exterior materials, and whether the design fit the house as well as the neighborhood. The realistic images you see here were used effectively to get unanimous approval of both boards. Improvements include:
